Raw chocolates are handmade at our factory in Vaajakosk. As the name tells, raw chocolate is made from raw cocoa beans of the original Criollo variety, which hundreds of families cultivate in the Peruvian Amazon in the heart of the rainforest. Raw cacao is like wine – you can taste its growing environment: the soil, the surrounding vegetation, the conditions. The secret of good raw chocolate lies in a high-quality cocoa bean and its gentle, skillful production.

 

In addition to the authentic taste, raw chocolate has another secret. Cocoa is the most antioxidant-rich fruit in the world, so we nurture the beneficial properties it brings to health by not using high temperatures.

 

Our raw chocolates are vegan and do not contain any preservatives or additives. All you have to do is glance at the ingredient list – there’s nothing extra in these chocolates.

 

All our raw chocolate products have received the Flag Key label as a sign of Finnish craftsmanship and labour. 

 

Packed in a facility that processes nuts (cashews, Brazil nuts, pecans, pistachios, macadamias, hazelnuts, walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds, and whey protein (from milk).
