Last years hit product Raw Chocolate Christmas Calendar introduced these cashew nuts which are now available in their own package. Gingerbread Chocolate Cashew combines rich and creamy cashew nut and mouth watering gingerbread chocolate – this flavorful Christmas treat will make you fall in love with it over and over again. Gingerbread Chocolate Cashews can be snacked as is but they are a perfect addition for Christmas baking and decorating desserts. Foodin raw chocolates are the end result of passionate and ethical product development. Founder Lasse Jalkanen is well known for his love for raw chocolate which is why our chocolates are especially important product group at Foodin. The most important ingredient of our chocolate is Criollo cocoa beans which hundred of families farm in the heart of Amazonia. Our chocolate get its sweetness from the worlds most sustainable sweetener indonesian coconut sugar which has a low-glycemic index.

Foodin’s raw chocolate gingerbread cashews are made by hand at our factory in Vaajakoski, and the raw chocolate is prepared using a traditional stone ground method. Giant millstones grind the ingredients into a velvety chocolate mass for two or three days and the low, below 42-degree Celsius temperature ensures that the properties of the cocoa bean are preserved in the final product. The stone mill process provides velvety texture and softness to the chocolate. Finally, our gentle icing machine entwines the ingredients in soft and tasty raw chocolate, that has no added sugar in it. 

Our raw chocolates are vegan and contain no preservatives or additives whatsoever. All you have to do is take a peek at the ingredient list – we make our chocolates from only the best ingredients. All our raw chocolate products have received the Flag Key label as a sign of Finnish craftsmanship and labour.
