THE UNIQUE SUPERMACA IS THE RESULT OF EXTENSIVE DEVELOPMENT
Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is a superfood that grows in the rugged environment in the Andes in Peru. Maca is also known as Andean wreath and Peruvian ginseng. Maca roots grow in the Andean mountains in rather harsh conditions, where weather conditions range from ice cold to blazing hot.
Our maca partner is a Peruvian pioneer when it comes to maca farming and processing. Supermaca is a unique product and the result of extensive development. Supermaca contains up to 2% of glucosinolates, making it an exceptionally strong and concentrated maca powder. Supermaca contains all three maca varieties: black, red and yellow.
Supermaca is harvested fresh in the Andes and dried in a controlled environment with special equipment. In ordinary circumstances, maca roots are dried in sunlight for several weeks, and the glucosinolate content is remarkably smaller, around 0,1%.
Begin using maca with a daily dose of 0,5-1 teaspoons, gradually increasing the dose to 4 tablespoons. We recommend that you take a one-week break from maca after every three weeks of use.
