The macadamia nut, also known as the Queensland nut, is a delicious, creamy nut. These nuts are an excellent source of unsaturated fats, and contain only 8 grams of carbohydrates per 100 grams, which makes them suitable for the ketogenic diet.  

Macadamia is the world’s most expensive nut, as it grows unpredictably with relatively small harvests. These nuts taste best in soups and salads, and due to their high fat concentration, they are a great base for sauces and pestos. Due to their versatility, macadamia nuts are well suited for all kinds of baking, decoration and snacking.
