VERSATILE CASHEW BUTTER IS SILKY AND CREAMY
One of our customers‘ definite favourite, our organic cashew butter is a rich, velvety paste made from organic cashews. The paste works wonderfully in both sweet and savory dishes, with the taste and properties of fresh cashew nuts.
HOW TO USE
Use cashew butter as a dip or spread, in sauces and cream soups, on top of roasted vegetables or include a dash of the butter in your afternoon snack. Create a vibrant from cashew butter by adding spices like black pepper, curry, turmeric, or even licorice powder. The rich, creamy texture of the butter makes it a great filling for cakes, muffins, pies and all kinds of baking. Use cashew butter to decorate or ice your raw porridge, chia pudding, fruit salad or smoothie.
Cashew butter has gained popularity in snacking especially. Have you tried dipping apple slices or using the paste as a filling for Medjool dates? The butter is incredibly versatile, but many prefer enjoying cashew butter straight out of the jar.
Please note that the oil from cashews may rise to the surface of the butter, so mix it well before use.
HOW CASHEW BUTTER IS MADE
All our nut and seed butters are made using a traditional stone ground method at our own Vaajakoski factory. The wonderfully soft organic cashew butter is ground from select, hand-picked, unroasted cashew nuts. A long and gentle process in the stone mill as well as a low temperature below 42 degrees Celsius preserve the nutrients of the nuts and provide a velvety flavour and texture.
Store an opened cashew butter jar at room temperature for up to 3 months. Keep tightly sealed away from light.
Manufactured in a factory that handles gluten-free oats, nuts (cashews, Brazil nuts, pecans, macadamias, hazelnuts and walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds and milk protein.
