Foodin cashew and almond butter make a great base for deliciously flavored sauces. Try the fresh and creamy herb sauce, spicy chili sauce or the lemony ginger sauce. The secret to an excellent sauce is the balance of acidity, sweetness and salty flavor.
1 dl Foodin cashew butter
1 tbsp Foodin honey ginger apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Foodin lemon ginger juice
1 tsp sweetener such as honey
a small piece of ginger (grate it if you use a spoon to mix the ingredients)
¾ tsp salt
0,5 dl water
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender or in the bowl part of an immersion blender to make the sauce smooth. You can also mix the ingredients in a bowl with a whisk or spoon.
Enjoy the sauces with salads, bowl foods, soups, noodles and pasta dishes or as a dip for vegetables.
