WHITE TAHINI IS A VERSATILE AND TRENDY SEED BUTTER
White tahini is a paste made from peeled sesame seeds. Its versatility makes it an increasingly popular ingredient in many recipes and particularly hummus. White tahini differs from dark and black tahini with a milder flavour.
HOW TO USE
Use white tahini as a part of hummus or in sauces for noodles and roasted vegetables. It is a great way to add colour and texture to various different sauces. Use tahini as a dip, and choose any kind of raw vegetable or fruit. Our favourites are carrot, cucumber, bell pepper, celery and apple. Aromatic tahini works well in baking and desserts as well. Flavour a smoothie or add a small amount of tahini to your cookie and brownie doughs.
HOW OUR WHITE TAHINI IS MADE
Our tahini is prepared in our own Vaajakoski factory, using only black sesame seeds. The tahini is made in our traditional stone mill that uses large mill stones to gently grind the seeds in low temperature for several days. The long preparation time and temperature under 42 degrees Celcius ensure that the nutrients from the seeds are preserved in the final product. Our production method gives these unique products a velvety texture, which sparks plenty of excited and thankful customer feedback.
Once opened, store tahini at room temperature. An opened jar lasts approximately 3 months. Keep tightly sealed away from sunlight.
Manufactured in a factory that handles gluten-free oats, nuts (cashews, Brazil nuts, pecans, macadamias, hazelnuts and walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds and milk protein.
