Quinoa flour is mild, delicate flour, ground from quinoa seeds. Quinoa flour is an excellent tool in baking and cooking.
Quinoa flour is delicately nutty in taste, which makes it a great alternative for both savoury cooking and sweet bakes. Tarts, pizzas, breads and other doughs are easy to conjure with quinoa flour! We recommend using quinoa flour together with other flours to achieve the right texture for the dough, or adding some psyllium fibre to make the dough easier to handle.
Quinoa originates in South-America, and it has been grown in the Andes for almost five thousand years. It was the most important crop for the Ancient Incas, and the seeds were used much like the more common grains used today. Quinoa, however, is not a grain, but a grass plant.
Packed in a factory that handles gluten-free oats, nuts (cashews, Brazil nuts, pecans, macadamias, hazelnuts and walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds, and milk protein.
