HOW TO USE
Almond butter is substantially more runny than other nut and seed butters. Dip raw or cooked fruits and vegetables into the spread. Our favourites are carrot, potato, parsnip, celery, cucumber and apple. Almond butter is a great way to add a rich, creamy touch to a salad dressing.
Decorate your raw porridge or chia pudding with almond butter, or mix it in. The creamy texture brings excellent variety and depth to smoothies. Have you tried a smoothie mixed from frozen bananas, plant-milk, raw cacao and almond butter? Almond butter is a delicious addition to sweet desserts, and the spread is great for both garnishing and filling cakes, muffins or even dates. HOW OUR ALMOND BUTTER IS MADE
All our nut and seed butters are made using a traditional stone ground method at our own Vaajakoski factory. Our almond butter is prepared from almonds that are picked and sorted by hand, so that no bitter almonds make it into the batch. A long and gentle process in the stone mill as well as a low temperature below 42 degrees Celsius preserve the nutrients of the nuts and provide a velvety flavour and texture.
Store an opened almond butter jar at room temperature for up to 3 months. Keep tightly sealed away from light.
Manufactured in a factory that handles gluten-free oats, nuts (cashews, Brazil nuts, pecans, macadamias, hazelnuts and walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds and milk protein.
