QUINOA IS A KITCHEN ESSENTIAL
Quinoa is quickly becoming one of the most popular side dishes throughout the world. Due to its high protein content, it is used more and more in plant-based diets and vegan cooking. Quinoa is versatile and has a long shelf life, so you can easily stock up with several packages at once. With quinoa, you can create a broad variety of filling and delicious meals in less than half an hour!
The taste of light quinoa is milder than red or black quinoa. Try other colors to mix it up, or combine them for added colour and a visual touch!
HOW TO USE QUINOA
Quinoa can be used much like rice or couscous in both hot and cold dishes and as a side dish. Rich in protein, quinoa is an excellent addition to raw porridge, filling salads, full-bodied soups and hearty pot dishes. You can also use quinoa in baking. Our quinoa is also suitable for sprouting.
Season prepared quinoa with lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, salt and black pepper for a tabouleh-style side dish. Add a dash of chopped onions and tomatoes and fresh herbs such as basil, coriander and mint. Top the side dish off with a splash of olive oil!
