Our popular chai spice blend contains vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, combined with orange oil, giving the raw chocolate a spicy but gentle taste experience that will lead you to the Christmas spirit.

How are Foodin’s raw chocolate-coated treats made?

Foodin’s raw chocolate sweets are handmade in Finland in our Vaajakoski factory. The raw chocolate is made using the traditional stone ground method, where giant millstones grind the raw materials into chocolate paste for two to three days. The secret of good raw chocolate lies in the quality of the cocoa beans and their gentle, skillful preparation. In addition to its authentic taste, raw chocolate has another secret: cocoa is the world’s most antioxidant-rich fruit, and we nurture its health benefits by keeping the temperature low enough to keep it below 42 degrees Celsius. The gentle stone-mill treatment also contributes to the chocolate’s texture and smoothness. Finally, a gentle icing machine wraps the raw ingredients in a soft and gentle raw chocolate.   

Our raw chocolates are vegan and contain no preservatives or additives. All you have to do is look at the ingredients list – there’s nothing superfluous about these chocolates. Our raw chocolate products have been awarded the Key Flag label as a testament to Finnish expertise and work.
