Panna (cream) cotta (cooked), the Italian classic dessert is heavenly as a vegan chocolatey version. Use Foodin coconut milk, cacao powder and raw chocolate to make this lovely sweet treat.


330 ml Foodin coconut milk 

4 tbsp Foodin coconut sugar 

2 tbsp Foodin cacao powder 

80 g / two bars of Foodin raw chocolate such as Coconut Milk 41% 

1 tsp Agar agar -powder 

Pinch of salt 

For serving: shredded raw chocolate 


In a saucepan on medium heat, cook the coconut milk, coconut sugar, cacao powder, chocolate, agar agar and salt for a few minutes or until the sauce thickens. 

Pour the mixture into serving jars and let set in the refrigerator for an hour. 

Decorate with shredded chocolate before serving.
