RECIPE
Press the block of tofu covered in a kitchen towel or paper towel under something heavy such as a cast iron pan for about 15 minutes.
Slice the tofu and roll it gently in olive oil. Coat the tofu pieces in Foodin Parmesan. Repeat until all pieces are coated.
Fry the tofu pieces in an airfryer set to 200 C for 10 minutes. Rotate the pieces and fry for a few more minutes or until the tofu is golden brown.
Grate the carrots and cabbage. Chop the chili and slice the lime.
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and crushed garlic or aioli, sriracha sauce and lemon juice.
In another bowl, mix the hoisin sauce and sesame seeds.
Fry the tortillas for a minute at a time in the airfryer or on a hot pan until they are slightly golden.
Assemble the taco:
Spread the sriracha mayonnaise and hoisin sauce on the tortilla. Place salad, grated carrot and cabbage on top. Then place two pieces of tofu, drizzle more sauce, add sprouts, chili, sesame seeds, cilantro and a squeeze or two of lime juice. The delicious tacos are ready – Enjoy!
