TEFF FLOUR IS GLUTEN FREE WHOLE GRAIN
Teff flour is a gluten free whole grain flour. Teff seeds are so small that they are ground into flour shells and all. Teff has a long history in Africa, but today it is cultivated all around the world!
Nutty and slightly sweet, Teff Flour is a tasty baking flour that brings variety to your kitchen routine. It suits sweet and savoury baking from cakes to pizza dough, and in cooking it can be used to thicken soups and sauces. In Ethiopia, teff flour is used to make injera, a flat bread that can be used as a “plate” for other foods.
Use psyllium husk with teff flour to bring texture and fluffiness to the dough, or try mixing it together with buckwheat or rice flour.
