The Guerande sea salt is light grey in color. The salt has not been processed, and it does not contain any additives. The flavour of the salt is mildly soft and aromatic, making it a delicious choice for all types of cooking and seasoning. Coarse sea salt is ideal for salting fish and preservation of dishes and ingredients. Sprinkle coarse sea salt into boiling water for vegetables and potatoes.  

Try mixing different types of salt together or add flavour with your favourite herbs! Mix sea salt with crystal salt and add dry herbs such as rosemary, basil, thyme, herbs de Provence, or pepper. Store your new spice mix in a beautiful glass jar!  

Sea salt is a popular ingredient in self-care products, steam inhalation and scrubs. A popular DIY-scrub is made from simply mixing together sea salt and coconut oil and gently scrubbing it into the skin in circular motion. Take note that salt exfoliation is not suitable for sensitive skin areas or sensitive and irritated skin in general. Wash the scrub with warm water and gently pat dry. Fine salt is more gentle on the skin than the coarse variety.
