CHARM YOUR PALATE WITH OUR RAW CHOCOLATE CRUMBLE
Foodin’s soft and delicious 52% light raw chocolate crumble is scrumptious! The crumble has the velvety, soft flavour of milk chocolate, and it is the perfect addition to all kinds of baking!
As our other chocolate products, this crumble is completely vegan. The creaminess comes from Foodin’s unique, velvety soft coconut manna, which has been ground in a stone mill from high quality coconut chips. The sweetness comes from sustainable coconut sugar, sweet desiccated coconut and vanilla.
Use the milky, creamy raw chocolate crumble as it is when treating yourself, or prepare your own raw chocolate by melting the crumble in hot water – fill a bowl with hot water, place another bowl with the chocolate inside to float in the water. The heat of the hot water in the outer bowl will melt the chocolate in the inner bowl. Be careful not to let water into the inner bowl so the chocolate remains inctact! Flavour the melted chocolate with your favourite treats, such as dried fruit, nuts, desiccated coconut, licorice dates or spices, such as sea salt, cardamom, mint, licorice powder, cinnamon or black pepper. Pour the mass into molds of your choosing and let cool. Melted raw chocolate crumble is also great in other desserts and baking!
Soft but crunchy raw chocolate crumble is a great addition to granola, muesli, trail mixes, porridge, smoothie or yogurt all on its own. Use the crumble as a decoration in baking and desserts.
Foodin’s chocolate crumble is prepared in our own Vaajakoski factory with traditional Stone Ground methods from high quality, cold pressed Criollo variety cacao. The gentle processing ensures a particularly delicious texture and flavour experience.
Organic, raw, gluten free, no additives or preservatives.
Packaged in a factory that processes nuts (cashew, Brazil nut, pecan, pistachio, macadamia, hazel and walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds and whey protein (from milk).
The history of our Criollo variety cocoa beans take us to the depths of the Amazonian rainforest, where small family farmers grow cacao beans sustainably and according to ethical guidelines. Cultivation methods are developed by providing training and an optimal setting for cacao farming, and our sourcing partners are in close cooperation with the farming communities. This way, the farmers are guaranteed a fair wage, and their children are able to go to school. This ensures that typical problems of mass production, including child labour, are better supervised.
Our sourcing partners are responsible for execution of the education, health care and other supporting functions that create wellbeing in the farming communities. The Organic Certificate ensures that the environment, people and animals are treated just and fair. Our partners have the SPP Certification that ensures funds for the children’s schooling and enables supervising guideline compliance.
