COCONUT NECTAR IS A SUSTAINABLE SWEETENER
Foodin’s coconut nectar is a flavourful, natural liquid sweetener. Our coconut nectar is produced according to ethical sustainability guidelines. Due to its production process it is often referred to as the most sustainable sweetener in the world.
Use the natural aromatic coconut nectar in all cooking and baking. The nectar provides sophisticated aromas and sweetness to any dish! It is particularly tasty in berry muffins.
Our coconut nectar comes from Eastern Java, Indonesia. The nectar is produced entirely by hand from coconut palm blossoms following sustainable and ethical guidelines. Over 1600 varieties of coconut palm trees can be used to produce coconut nectar, but many growth areas are deforested for other purposes. Foodin’s coconut nectar, however, is made solely from ethical coconut palm.
The glycemic index of coconut nectar is relatively low (GI 35), so it does not significantly increase blood sugar levels.
Organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, GMO-free. Does not contain any additives or preservatives.
Packaged in a factory that processes nuts (cashew, Brazil nut, pecan, pistachio, macadamia, hazel and walnuts), almonds, sesame seeds and whey protein (from milk).
