BLACK SESAME SEEDS ARE PERFECT FOR ASIAN CUISINE
Many know the black sesame seed from the Japanese kitchen, and many taste their first with delicious makis and other sushi. Black sesame seeds are more aromatic than the regular, light sesame seed, but can be used in the same way.
Black sesame seeds are at their best when sprinkled over rice- and noodle dishes. They deepen the flavours of Eastern cuisine, and bring a touch of Asia to the simplest of dishes. Our favourite combination is to sprinkle black sesame seeds on top of chili-marinated vegetables and rice noodles.
Due to their small size, black sesame seeds make a wonderful addition to spice mixes. Try mixing sesame seeds as part of a coarse salt and herb combo!
